Show NATIONAL FARM WOMEN TO MEET IN SALT LAKE SALT LAKE. Aug. 27 The tenth annual session of ihe Natlonn! Farm Women's congress will be held in Salt Lake. October 7, 8 and 9. according to announcements made b Governor Bamberger yesterday Miss Faye M j Holt of Havelock, la. is secretary of the congress. Delegates from all clubs in Utah are expected lo be present The congreas, which was organized ln 1910, Is composed principally of' t?rm women, and the purpose is to discuss dis-cuss quest lous pertaining lo faun lite as il affects women, with a vie' to creating more satisfactory, conditions on the farm Especial attention is given giv-en to education of girls for succesrful farm life. A part of the program Includes In-cludes educational propaganda Intend ed lo convince young people that mi all the opportunities are to be found in the city and that there are many rca sons why young men and women should engage In rural occupations. Mr- Fannie M Kllnck of Clarksvllle, la , Is president of the congress, and in a circular addressed to members and delegates, speaks Impressively of Salt Lake's advantages as a convention conven-tion city. Invitations to attend the congress are made more attractivi h the announcement that several Bpeolfll trips into scenic sections of the s'aie will he made during the stay of delegates dele-gates in the city. Nearly all the mid-dlewest mid-dlewest and western states will have representation in the congress, and it is expected that at least 100 delegates dele-gates will attend from other states. |
