Show TEACHERS TO ' HOLD INSTITUTE Principals. Instructors and Supervisors Called Together Tomorrow The Initial institute for teachers of Ogden schools for the iyO-21 seasons, will be called to order at the Central Junior High school at $ 30 o'clock tomorrow to-morrow morning, teachers supervisors and principals to be in attendance, vl PKRINTENDENT'S Ml ET1NG In the souvenir programs, which will be distributed to th teaohers ami guests at the meeting tomorrow. Supt. W. Karl Hopkins, offers the following i greeting to the Instructors: i "In my many years of teaching work I have found a thousand reasons rea-sons to rejoice and be glad that I am a teacher. I am glad each year w hen the time draws near for the new school yea I I am glad to hear the school hells ring, calling the boys and girls l-ack to their hooks and their work, j I am glad to meet them skipping gleefully on their way to school, glad j again to meet and greet their teachers I giving the He to the Shakespearian ' story of the school boy creeping un- willingly, snail-like to school." In the afternoon musical numbers 1 will be under the supervision of Mart: Kobinsnn President l-'rank lriggs the state School for the Deaf and Blind, w ill speak on 'The Challenge of the Hoy." The Call of the Hour." is the topic chosen by Supt. of State Instruction i. J Muii. The Honorable Nephi L Morris will close the program with an address, his subject to be announced tomorrow In the evening at the Ogden High SChOoI a Get Acquainted" reception will be held In honor of the teachers. From 10:80 a m. until noon teachers are scheduled to meet with the prin- pals In the various buildings at which time the assignment of rooms will take place At the conclusion of the i assigning of rooms the teachers will , hold their first faculty meeting with principals, nfter which they will be free until Monday morning, when the, doors of the BChdpM will bo unbolted, and school resumed. oo |
