Show PROPER WAY TO ADJUST BEARING 1 Whenever the wheel fitted with a -ui and i one licarins is " 'moved th m cup of thf bearing is removed with it I and the bearing must be adjusted in I replacing the wheel The proper way I 10 do this Is to turn the bearing tip I tight and then move the wheel a few I times by hand. This does away with J any tendency to backlash. Nxt tho j -JM adjusting nut Ls backed off very slight- 1 jsl ly, so that by grasping two spokes In lino, one above and the other below BVifl the hub, a slight shake ls felt In the LLvfl This movement should bo Just barely kLafl perceptible and if It is more than thi.s BM 1 1. ls too much, and the adjusting nut BBLa should bo a little tighter When this condition has boon attained, lock tho T wheel in place.
