Show LIBRARIANS TO MEET OCT. 9 Grace Harris of Ocjclen to Address Ad-dress State Convention in Salt Lake Problems of small town libraries, and their proper solutions will be the subject of a talk to be delivered by M18S Grace Harris of Ogden. president of the Utah Librarians' association, at the annual state convention of llbrai ians to be held at the Salt Lake library li-brary October 9 and 10. Professor Levi Edgar Young of the University ol Utah will sppak on "Utah Material for Libraries and How to Obtain Ob-tain It." Miss Esther Nelson, librarian of the University f Utah, will address the convention on the "General Seloction of School Books With Special Enipha sis on References " Mrs. A. L. Gillespie Gilles-pie of the Drlgham Young university library will speak on "IVbatlng Material Ma-terial for School Libraries " while Pro fessor L. A. Quivcy of the stale university uni-versity will tell tho librarians "How to Purchase Novels for the Small Library." Li-brary." Miss Mary E. Downey , Miss A. Ferrle and Supl. L. J. Mulr state superintendent su-perintendent of schools, are also on the program.
