THORESEN 1. A. SMOOT field n 5 en It's AD Over! Utah will have SNOW November 2 ISlander is Reaping It's Own Reward The Republican State Committee has had No Issue The Democrats proposed these propositions and the people j have accepted them as true: j 1. Smoot is for the East at the Expense of Utah. ' J 2. Smoot is for Predatory Wealth. ' 3. Smoot has never fought for Clean Government but on the contrary has fought shoulder to shoulder with Fall, Forbes, Jess Smith, Loriroer, New berry, Daughtery, and the corruptions in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and other states throughout the East. 4. Smoot fought the farmers on farm relief and stood by Mellon. 5. Smoot fought the Wool Grower's by opposing the . Truth in Fabrics bill. Not one of these charges have been met. ' Answering the farm relief charge, Senator Smoot said: "I have never been paired in my life, I work 365 days in the year." Answering the charge he voted for the miUoinaires and particularly Andrew Mellon, he said, "Aluminum ware can now be bought in the 10c stores." - All other charges stand ignored. As a last resort, to escape the Democratic fire, Senator Smoot and his cohorts ran behind the tariff wall to sling mud. Don't be deceived, the tariff is no more a political issue. The system is fastened upon the country for good or ill. We propose to get our share for Utah. We charge that Senator Smoot is derelict in not getting ijr enough protection for Utah products. -O I ; NOVEMBER 2nd, VOTE for L ASHBY SNOW, for United States Senator JUDGE GEORGE CHRISTENSEN, for Supreme Court Judge WILLIAM R.
