Show FEDERAL GRAND JURY IN SESSION SALT LAKE, Nov. 12. With but sixteen six-teen members present, constituting the necessary niiiinium, the federul grand jury for ihe United States district court for Utah met before Judge Tillman Till-man I). Johnson at 10 o'clock yesterday yester-day morning. Four prospective Jurors who had been summoned did not appear ap-pear and a recess was taken while bench warrants were issued for the delinquent de-linquent members With the panel before him. Juice Johnson asked for the presentation t excuses, but only two men asked ic be relieved from their duties. They were W E. Reunion of West Jordan, who declared that he had a field of beets that must be harvested at once to prevent total loss, and Joseph E Francis Fran-cis of Morgan county, who sffid he had an important shipment of livestock live-stock that much be attended to immediately im-mediately The court took the e ust under advisement The cases to be considered are several sev-eral counterfeiting charges, postofflce matters, Mann act violation cases and several miscellaneous cases.
