Aug. 1 Two fatalities fatal-ities and thousands of dollars worth of property damage resulted from a series of heavy thunder storms in various Parts of Colorado within the last twenty-four hours. Near Montrose. Colorado, two men "were killed by lightning as thc were seeking shelter in a barn. Reports from towns adjacent to Den-ver Den-ver indicated today that the storm was one of the most severe lu years. Hundreds Hun-dreds of motor tourists were marooned n the mountains, as roads were rendered ren-dered impassable and bridges were swept away.
