Show oo Influenza Shows No Sign of Abatement Throughout Nation WASHINGTON, Oct. 11 The epidemic epi-demic of Spanish influenza which has reached prnctically every section sec-tion of tho country continued contin-ued today with no signs of abatement abate-ment Ddtailed reports as to its spread among the civilian population were not available at the public health service bureau, but officials said nothing had been received to Indicate that the malady had even reached Its peak. New cases of influenza in army camps showed a slight decline in the twenty-four hours ending at noon today, to-day, but pneumonia cases increased over yesterday. Rapid spread of the epidemic was reported from Camp Travis, Texas, with 1,117 new cases at Camp Dodge, Iowafwlth 1,066 and at Camp McAr-thur, McAr-thur, Texas, with 653. Camp Funston, Kans., reported more than 500 new cases, Camp Taylor, Ky., 437, and Camp Sheridan, Alabama, 342. Marked Mark-ed subsidence of the disease was shown in reports received from several sev-eral camps, including Camp Grant, 111., and Camp Dix, New Jersey. Pneumonia showed the greatest increase in-crease today at Camp Dodgo with 329 now cases, Camp Taylor 206, Camp Funston 192 and Camp Custer, Mich. 160.
