Show AiOTHEfl HOSPITAL 1Y BE OPEIED FOR EIRCEICY A new emergency hospital is being contemplated by the Emergency committee, com-mittee, and, although several buildings build-ings arc being considered for this purpose, pur-pose, no definite action will take place until a meeting is held tomorrow. A need for larger quarters is very urgent at present, and it is the belief be-lief of this committee, as well as local lo-cal health authorities, that a checking of the epidemic may bo brought about through complete isolation of cases ' as soon as the disease makes it first 'appearance. A hospital of proper equipment and size would make this! possible, and tho movement has the 'sanction of both city and state health . board. 1 With the accomplishment of this action, ac-tion, members of families could be moved away at once, with the assurance assur-ance of the very best care. No hardship hard-ship would be brought upon any family, fam-ily, hdwever large, through the illness of any number of its family, as all sick would be removed and cared for at once.' It is the plan of tho committee com-mittee to have tho best of nurses In charge, and physicians of the city will give constant attention to the cases confined there. Should the epidemic remain unchecked un-checked for the time being, action will be begun for the hospital at once. nn |
