Show Deaths and Funerals COOLEY Bishop T. B. Wheelwright conducted the funeral services in Ogden Og-den city cemetery yesterday afternoon for Stirling B. Cooley. Mrs. Pauline Waterfall sang "O, My Father," "Face to Face," and "O, May My Walk Be Close to God." The opening prayer was offered by George HolL Tho speakers were Murray K. Jacobs and Bishop Wheelwright. Fred Foulgcr dedicated the grave DAVIS David Monroe Davis, 28 years old, a well known farmer of Warren, War-ren, died at 8 a. ra. yesterday of influenza-pneumonia. Surviving are his Hvife and his father, David P. Davis. The body is at Lurkin chapel awaiting funeral. O L M ST E A D Hy rum Ulysses Olm- stead, well known resident of Syracuse, Syra-cuse, died yesterday morning of influenza-pneumonia at a local hospital. His wife and two children, with one brother broth-er and two sisters, survive. The funeral fu-neral will bo announced later. DENKERS The funeral services for Herman B. Denkers and nephew, John Jacob Denkers, will be conducted this afternoon by Bishop's Counselor Henry Hen-ry Volker in Ogdon city cemetery, the cortege leaving the Larkin chapel at 3 o'clock; BINGHAM Services for Mrs. Del-pha Del-pha Bingham and her twin babies will be conducted by Bishop Dana this afternoon aft-ernoon in Ogden city cemetery, the cortege leaving the Larkin chapel at 2 o'clock. POULTER Services for Lawrence M. Poulter were held yesterday afternoon after-noon in Ogden cit.v cemetery with Bishop E. A. Olsen presiding. "O, Mv Father," and "Thy Will Be Done;" wore sung by William S. Wright. Speakers were Parley T. Wright and Hyrum Lund. Alfred Stratford dedicated dedi-cated the grave. WRIGHT Bishop D. II. Ensign conducted con-ducted the obsequies for Joseph K. Wright, Jr., which were held yesterday yester-day afternopn in Ogden city cemetery. "Face to Face" and "Abide With Mo" were sung by J. H. Bull of Salt Lake. Bishop E. A. Bingham and Earl Road were tho speakers. Bishop Ensgin ded-1 icated the grave. JORGENSON The funeral services for Mrs. Ingeborg Jorgenson and infant in-fant baby was conducted yesterday afternoon aft-ernoon by Bishop M. E. Richardson fin Ogden city cemetery. Bishop. Richardson Rich-ardson and Bishop Carl Peterson were the speakers. Bishop Richardson dedicated dedi-cated the grave. VENEMA The funeral cortege for Mrs. Alice Venema will leave the home, 10 Wilson lane, at 10:30 a. m. Saturday for services in Ogden city cemetery. Mrs. Venema was born December De-cember 7, 1902, in Ogden and is survived sur-vived by a son, John, and two sisters, Sena and Rosalind. LARSON Rasmus Larson died at 7 a. m. yesterday at his home in Roy. He was born in Denmark, March 11, 1855, and has resided here many years. The body is at Lindquist's awaiting funeral. COBB The cortege for Alice Cobb will leave the KIrkendall chapel Friday Fri-day at 2 p. m. and proceed to Ogden city cemetery, where services will be conducted by Rev. C. R. Carver. RIGLEY The cortege for Mrs. Mat-tie Mat-tie Rigley will leave the KIrkendall chapel at 4 o'clock this afternoon. Services will bo conducted in Ogden city cemetery. MITCHELL Hugh Mitchell, 45 years of age, night clerk at the Marlon hotel, died at a local hospital at 4 a. m. yesterday of influenza. The body is at the KIrkendall chapel awaiting funeral. , . BERGAMINI Louisa Eergamini, 30 years old, died at a local hospital of influenza Tuesday evening. The body was removed to the KIrkendall chapel awaitiug funeral. BOYLE Bishop's Counselor W. E. Newman conducted funeral services for Lorin Boyle at 11 a. m. yesterday In Ogden city cemetery. President Alva ScovJUo was" the speaker. The Ballan-tyne Ballan-tyne quartet rendered two selections. Elizar Jones offered the dedicatory prayer. PINGREE Funeral services for Hazel Pingrce, young daughter of the late Hyrum and Mrs. Pingree, were held in Ogden city cemetery yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Mary and Miss Vera Jones sang "Beautiful Isle." George H. Wallace of Salt Lake preached the sermon and dedicated the grave. LYNSKEY Th cortege for Emma Ruth Lynskey will leave the residence at 10 a. m. today and will go to the Huntsvillo cemetery, where Bishop Joseph Jo-seph Peterson will conduct service. SIMPSON The funeral of Mrs. Charlotte N. Simpson will be held outside out-side the home in Hooper at 2:30 p. m. today. Bishop J. R. Beus will preside. HENDRICKS W. W. Hendricks of Richmond, Utah, and brother of Mrs. Adclbert C. Brown of Ogden, died this morning at 1 o'clock of Spanish influenza. influ-enza. He is survived by a wife and three children. oo |
