I I The story: William Ramsdell loves! I Virginia Farrell, and so does Do Witt' 1 Clinton. When Clinton sees that ; Ramsdell is winning, he plans to thwart Ramsdell. Through a conspir- j 1 acy between Clinton and the butler I William's coffee is doped and he is j carried unconscious to bed. I As a last resort Virginia marries I Clinton. They go to the mountains for the summer. While out walking a 1 ! storm drives Virginia to the shelter of ! a shack. It happens to bo William's I and both are surprised and happy to see one another. William learns tho treachery of the butler is responsible for his sad destiny. des-tiny. He goes to Clinton and the two fight. The butler shoots Clinton and then plunges off a high cliff. Virginia I and Ramsdell are seen in a happy j I ending. |
