Show "BILL" DES101 IN 'ILL'S END" Any role that gives the handsome, irresistible William Desmond a chance to battle his way with naked hands through difficulties, Is bound to be one of gripping Interest. That terrific battle bat-tle which he put up In his last picture, "Closln In" is mute evidence of this assertion. "Hell's End" is rich with battles, and Handsome BUI is right in tho midst of them as the toughest gangster of the toughest gang that overawed the toughest section of the town. What wonder, then, that Josle Sedgwick's society friends should have turned their backs on her when she attempted at-tempted to introduce Bill to them on a slumming expedition? "Hell's End" which will be shown at tho Cozy tomorrow, portrays with vivid, emotional tenseness the awakening awak-ening of a gangster to the ennobling influence of a refining love brought to him from the heavens of society. Josie Sedgwick makes her first appearance in society roles in this picture. Hlth-orto, Hlth-orto, she has been tho girl of the west who has been more at homo with a six-shooter and a wild broncho than with a teacup and an evening gown. With Bill Desmond she is given a striking opportunity to do big things in this red-blooded picture, teeming with flerco conflict. |
