Show ! CHILEANS HAVE STORMY SESSION. SANTIAGO, Chile, Nov. 26. The Peruvian question was brought up in the Chilean chamber of deputies last : night and a stormy session resultod. Sonor Cardenas, the second vice-, vice-, president of tho chamber, suggested that tho question be settled peaceably. The members of the now Chilean cabinet cab-inet who were present, 'withdrew as a protest and the president and first vico-prcsldent of the chnmber announced an-nounced they had resigned. The session ses-sion thon had to be adjourned to prevent pre-vent violence. The sitting was re-opened later and the deputies voted Cardenas out of his offico as second vice-president and annulled the resignations of the president pres-ident and first vice-president, After tho meeting crowds in the streot hooted Cardenas, calling him a traitor. |
