Show uu ITALIAN UNIVERSITY MAKES COLLECTION OF WAR BOOKS Another evidence of the far-reaching efforts of German propaganda, which unfortunately is not so readily read-ily silenced as the German guns, Is included in-cluded In a collection of books recently recent-ly presented by the English government govern-ment to the Univorsity Library at Bologna, Bo-logna, Italy. It takes the shape of an anti-English book printed by German agents in San Francisco, and it is written in the Hindustan language. It is probable that German propaganda was -widespread in a number of Indian dialects. The English gift forms part of a collection col-lection of books, pamphlets, photographs, photo-graphs, documents, and other printed matter pertaining to tho great war which has been begun in tho University Univer-sity at Bologna. The collection already al-ready consists of about 7,000 volumes. Noteworthy additions have been sent in by correspondents appointed from abroad. The French government has also sent In a number of volumes. The University of Bologna aims eventually to have a fair-sized bibliography bib-liography on the war. A complete bibliography is almost an impossibility. |
