Show NOTICE OF MEETING OF STOCKHOLDERS STOCK-HOLDERS OF THE OGDEN PACKING PACK-ING AND PROVISION COMPANY COM-PANY Notice is hereby given that a meet ing of the Stockholders of the Ogden Packing and Provision Company, a Corporation, will be held at the office of said Company on Twenty-fourth I Street, in Ogden, Utah, on Saturday, the 24lh day of March, 1917, at the hour of 10 o'clock a. m., for the purpose pur-pose of amending the Articles of Incorporation In-corporation of said Company. To amend Article Five, relating to the objects lor which this Cor-ls Cor-ls formed, by increasing the objects and powers of this Corporation in the following general particulars: To permit this Corporation to carry on a general cattle, livestock, agricul-j agricul-j tural and meat packing business in I all branches of said respective trades or businesses; to permit this Corporation Corpora-tion to manufacture and deal in ice, to preserve in cold storage and operate cold storage warehouses', to manufacture, manufac-ture, prepare, sell, import and export food and food products of every class and description; to manufacture, prepare pre-pare and deal in all receptacles and packages for products handled by this Corporation; to maintain and operate cold storage and refrigerating plants; and do a general warehouse and storage stor-age business, and to issue warehouse ret eipts; to own, lease and operate refrigerator re-frigerator cars and steam, sailing and other vessels; to obtain and turn to account patents, trade marks and trade names, and the like, to purchase and hold its own capital stock; to lend and advance money and give credit to persons per-sons and corporations having dealings with the Companj to acquire stock, bonds or obligations of Corporations formed for or engaged in any similar kind of business in which this Corporation is engaged, en-gaged, to guarantee payments of dividends divi-dends or interest on obligations of, such corporations; to aid in any man-: ner any Corporation whose stocks, 1 bonds, or other obligations are held, i or in any manner guaranteed by this j Corporation, to conduct iLs business in tther States, in the Territories, and in foreign countries, and have more than ' one office; to issue bonds, or, other obligations in payment of property purchased pur-chased or acquired by it. or for any object in or about its business; to 1 mortgage or pledge any stock, bonds, or any other obligation or any prop-1 erty owned by it; to secure any bonds 1 or other obligations by it issued or in-1 curred; to make and perform contracts j of any kind or description; and to ex ercise any and all powers which a copartnership co-partnership or natural person could do and exercise. 2. To amend Article Seven by In creasing the Capital Stock of this Cor poration ffom One Million ($l,uuu,0u0) 1 Dollars divided into Ten Thousand (10,000) shares of the par value of1 One Hundred ($100) Doll irs each, to , Two Million ($J,0uu,000) Dollars, dlvid-ed dlvid-ed into Twenty Thousand (20.00U) shares of the par value of One Hun-' dred ($100) Dollars each.
