Corporation, will be held at the office ol said Company on Twenty-fourth Street, in Ogden, Utah, on Saturday the 24th day of March, 1917, at uia hour of 10 o'clock a. m., for the pur-I pur-I pose of amending tho Articles of ia. corporation of said Company. The nature of the proposed changes or amendments is as follows: 1. To amend Articlo Five, relating j to the objects for which this Cor- is formed, by increasing the objecu and powers of this Corporation ua the 1 following general particulars: To permit this Corporation to carry on a general cattle, livestock, agrlcul. tural and meat packing business m all branches of said respective trades or businesses; to permit this Corporation Corpora-tion to manufacture and deal in ice; to preserve in cold storage and operate cold storage wan ho , to manufacture, manufac-ture, prepare, sell, import and export lood and food producLs of every class and description; to manufacture, prepare pre-pare and deal in all receptacles and packages for products handled by this Corporation; to maintain and operate cold storage and refrigerating plants; :md do a general warehouse and storage stor-age business, and to issue warehouse receipts; to own, lease and operate re-in:,' re-in:,' 1 itor ears and .-1 . am, sailing and other vessels; to obtain and turn to account patents, trade marks and trade names, and the like; to purchase and hold its own capital stock; to lend and advance money and give credit to persons per-sons and corporations having dealings with the Company; to acquire stock, bonds or obligations of Corporations formed for or engaged in any similar kind of business in which this Corporation is engaged; en-gaged; to guarantee payments of dividends divi-dends or interest on obligations of such corporations; to aid in any manner man-ner any Corporation whose stocks, I bonds, or other obligations are held, or in any manner guaranteed by this Corporation; to conduct its business m Uher States, in the Territories, and la foreign countries, and have more than j one office; to issue bonds, or other I obligations in pament ol propert pui I chased or acquired by it, or for any object in or about its business; 10 I mortgage or pledge any stock, bonds, j or any other obligation or any prop-, prop-, erty owned by it; to secure any bonds or other obligations by it issued or incurred; in-curred; to make and perform contracts lot any kind or description, and to ax-I ax-I ercise any and all powers which a co- partnership or natural person could I do and exorcise. 2.
