Show oo MAJORaND wife HOUSEKEEPING Tire of Boarding After Fifty Long Years of Married Life. DENVER. Colo., March 27 Although Al-though they have been married for fifty fif-ty years, Major and Mrs. Ira A. Flood of Denver began housekeeping March 5 for the first time, on the anniversary of their wedding just fifty years ago. "It isn't so funnv that I should just begin housekeeping." said Mrs. Flood, "for before I was married we had plenty of servants and then when we married we Just decided to board, as I didn't know how to keep house. But we finally got tired of boarding house und hotel life and so we decided to start keeping house." Mrs. Flood is prominent in women's club and philanthropic circles. Her husband is a veteran of the ivil war and the oldest traveling salesman in point of service in the state. The bride says she doesn't know a thing about housekeeping or cooking, but she is going to learn. oo |
