Show PIONEERS FEEL MOST THANKFUL OVER CELEBRATION Who but the Daughters of the Pio neers could have conceived, so beau tifully, that tribute to the first settlers? set-tlers? It proves again tho origin of great ideas. From the time the notion no-tion was first breathed, to the formation forma-tion of committees and the success of yestorday, the skill of these Daughters Daugh-ters has been manifest. Our eyes moistened with recollection as the pageant passed along, like a moving picture, which only art and good hard work could have effected. Also, the meeting at Glenwood, with its tributes; trib-utes; the banquet at Idlewild, with tributes again and the joys of the table, ta-ble, tho games, tho fireworks, and, far from being last or least, that baby parade! Who would have thought it 7 And so many of them featured a token of those old times. Therefore, we feel that wo are voicing voic-ing the sentiments of the people when we extend our thanks to all the heads, the committees, and the officials offi-cials in general, who ihelped to make July 24, 1916, one of the most me-, morable In the annals of Ogden.
