Show uu WUIMM 0. SHAW, PIKER OF LIBERTY, IS OEAO William Orson Shaw, died Saturday at 12:30 p. m. at his home in Liberty, Utah, after two and one half month's illness. Ho has been failing in health but death came unexpectedly. Mr. Shaw was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa. January 11, 1850, the son of Elijah and Martha E. Thomas Shaw and came to Utah with his parents par-ents in 1S53. In 1872 In Ogden he was married to Phoebe Ann Rose. Mr. Shaw was a faithful member of the church of Latter Day Saints and an ardent worker In the faith, being a High Priest in the church. Ho had many friends in this community, being be-ing a prominent stockraiser and farmer. farm-er. Beside his wife, the following children, chil-dren, survive: Mrs. Maria McCline, MisBOula, Montana; Mrs. Elizabeth Leila, McGlll, Nevada; Mrs. Zella J Elgan, Challis, Idaho; Mrs. Rachel lo! Martin, San Francisco; Miss Mabei Irene Shaw, Liberty. Six grandchildren grandchil-dren and a number of brothers and sisters also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday Wed-nesday at 2 p. m. in Liborty meeting house, Bishop Arthur Ferrin presiding. Remains may be viewed Tuesday and' Wednesday to funeral hour. |
