Opening prices j 9 were Irregular, l-2c lower to l-4c higher with September nt 99 to 99 l-2c and December at 97 3-4 to 98 l-4c. After a little excited fluctuation, the market eased oft slightly below opening open-ing figures. . Corn followed wheat, December showing the greatest activity and making the largest temporary ad vance, but there was a dp all around when wheat yielded to heavy celling pressure. Tho opening was 1-S to 3-8 lc highor, with September at 74 to 74 1-lc and December at 6 to 64 l-8c. but after a further upturn, tho market began to recede. Oats eased off a little after open Ing unchanged to l-8o up In sympa thy with other grain. Demand was light. Provisions were irregular, pork and lard scoring a small advance on brisk domand, ribs casing off under lack of 6rders. The wheat close was 3-8 to 7-Sc higher with September at 99 7-Sc, and December at 98 l-8c. Tho corn market closed strong and 1-4 to 3-4c up, with September at 74 3-4c and December 64 3-Sc.
