Show IRHT! K FOR SALT LIE Washington, Jan. 3. When congress con-gress meets tomorrow Senator Sutherland Suther-land will introduce a bill to establish an "irrigation home" at Salt Lake City. The bill is the result of a conference con-ference held last summer between Senator Sutherland and a committee consiting of Professor F. W. Reynolds, Reyn-olds, Leo Fairbanks and C. A. F. Orlob. The idea of having an Irrigation home' was discussed at the last Irrigation Irri-gation congress, which was held at Stockton, Cal., and a resolution was adopted favoring such a home, to be erected in some one of the arid land states. Salt Lake City Is deemed a suitable location, as it was here that the first land In the United States was irrigated, as far back as 1847. Reclamation officials, it is said, favor Salt Lake City for the home. The cost of the building proposed would be in the neighborhood of 200,-000. 200,-000. Senator Sutherland will also Intro- duce a bill for the relief of John F. Considlne of Salt Lake City, who was injured while working on the Yuma reclamation project, receiving permanent and total disabilities. Con-sidine Con-sidine received one year's wages, about $1200.
