Show HI IS IT IPJ MUCH DISTRESS Bringing what i& considered reliable reli-able news of conditions existing in Germany, a' letter was received In Ogden yesterday by Thomas D. Rees, from a former fellow missionary, an Ogden boy whom Mr. Rees met while fulfilling a mission in Germany last year. The name of the writer Is withheld, with-held, but Mr. Rees Btates that the letter may be accepted as an uncen-sored uncen-sored and genuine report of conditions condi-tions in the Germany. In part, the letter follows: "You requested Information concerning con-cerning conditions here, to which I must reply that we would scarcely know that war existed were it not for soldiers coming and going to the front, the wounded arriving from the various fronts, or the war bulletins being posted. Up to this period war hasn't effected us greatly In Hanover." |
