Show WOULD CHANGE SCHOOL SYSTEM Provo, Aug. 12. Resolutions recommending recom-mending a reorganization of the state school system, especially with reference refer-ence to tho course of study and the use of uniform examinations, were adopted this morning by the class in supervision of the Brigham Young university summer school and immediately imme-diately forwarded to the state educational edu-cational code commission. A uniform course of study for the state as a whole was objected to on the ground that It violates the principle prin-ciple of apperception nnd falls to provide for the individuality of either the child or the teacher. It was rec-1 ommended that the individual school! be permitted, with the assistance of expert help, to make Its own course fo study to fit the needs of the school. It was further suggested that to be compatible with the plan outlined out-lined the abandonment of uniform examinations ex-aminations would be necessary. |
