Show GRANITE ELEVEN off for euro Utah State High School Cham pions to Contest With Montana Team Thanksgiving Thanks-giving Day. Salt Lake, Nov. 24. The C,ranit High school football eleven, charnpi ons of Utah, will leave for Butte, Mont , tonight, where on Thanksgiving day a game will be played with the Putte High school eleven for the championship of the intermonntnin re gion. The Parmer eleven is In great condition con-dition for the trip. None of the husky boys of Ashton'a squad was Injured In-jured In any of the recent games and the team that goes against thp Butto eleven will represent the full strength of the T'tah champions. There is a chance that another game will be played on this trip An offer has been made by the Academy of Idaho of Pocatello for a game on Saturday, but it has not been decided fully if this will be accepted. Coach Id Ashton will moo the team in Butte Wednesday night and probably will make the decision regarding the Pocatello game. Fourteen players will make the trip and are Captain Hamilton, Thonim, Mackey, Gardner. Heintz. Wilson, Riches, Carlson, Howells. Smith, Peterson Pe-terson Mathews, Hart and Statan |
