Show SHRINERS TO TAKE POSSESSION OF THE CANYON ' Tomorrow afternoon 400 Shriners will pass through Ogden to the Hermitage, Her-mitage, where the annual gathering of the organization will be held. Eighty automobiles filled with Shriners will leave Salt Lake at about 1 o'clock tomrrow afternoon en route to Ogden. They will be met at the north Davis county line by Ogden Shriners in aufcos and escorted to the Hermitage, riding over the principal streets of Ogden on the way. Elaborate arranges have been made ror me entertainment or tne visitors by the local Shriners and it la certain that nothing will be left undone to make the trip for the Salt Lake and other Shriners of the state most en joyable during the sojourn in the city and the canyon. Leaving Salt Lake at 1 o'clock, it is expected that the company com-pany will reach the Davis county line shortly after 2 o'clock. Numerous machines ma-chines have been chartered to do the honors to the visiting company by meeting the Salt Lake machines In the vicinity of Riverdale. The afternoon and evening will be spent at the Hermitage in a banquet, in the grove at 6:30 p. m., impromptu toasts, musi? and song and dancing. Plates will be laid for 400 and the menu will consist of pickles of all Kinas, ripe anu greeu unvos, roast. veal, beef and tongue, cheese, hot rolls, fruit and nut cakes, coffee, ginger ale, Becker's Best, soda water, salads, cigars, Ice cream, buttermilk and many kinds of sweetmeats. All traveling Shriners in Ogden or vicinity vi-cinity and all visiting Shriners are invited in-vited to attend the festivities. |
