Since the name of Mr. lone? was withdrawn, the president has com munlcated with Mr. Warburg, urging him to allow his name to be used and to again reconsider his request thai his nomination be withdrawn Mr. Warburg is understood to be consult ing with friends in New York before making his final answer. Senator O'Gorman. returning to Washington after several conferen ces with Mr. Warburg at White Sul phur Springs, W. Va , expressed the belief today that the New York bank or would appear before the commit lee and that his nomination would be confirmed. |
