Show SOCIETY Mr and Mrs W H. Crawford departed de-parted today via the Western Pacific for Los Angeles, Cal , on an extend ed visit with relativos and friends. Mrs. E. L. Frledlander and family departed today via the Gould lines for Houston. Texas, where they will make their future home. Miss Elizabeth Hedges, who has I been visiting at the home of Mr and Mrs, E. J. Harness at Roy, Utah, for several weeks, departed today for Washington, D. Mrs G W McCune, of 549 Twenty-sixth Twenty-sixth street, was hostess yesterday afternoon af-ternoon to members of the Ladles' Literary' society. A rather lengthy-business lengthy-business session took up the greater part of the afternoon. Mrs. J. H. Tliomas, who attended the convention of the Utah Federation of Women's clubs as a delegate from the Literacy soi lety, presented her report of the meeting. Mrs. I. N. Fulton as alternate alter-nate read her report which proved very interesting. On account of the absence of the president, Mrs. Rose Dee, Mrs. Maude Deo Porter presided Mrs. Leslie S. Hodgson was a guest of the society for the afternoon Before adjournment, Mrs McCunc i sen ed refreshments. Mrs. Fred G. Clark will entertain the ladies at their next meeting.
