In a written communication com-munication Mr Seaman stated that he was willing to pay the usual interest inter-est on bonds which is 5 per cent but that he objected to paving more than that rat-' Upon the recommendation of Mayor Fell, the extension of water mains to the property ol Hal i esslnger and other- on Polk avenue between Twent fifth and Twenty-sixth streets, was deferred. The mayor stated In his communication to the board of commissioners com-missioners that it would not be advisable advis-able for the citv to undertake the extension ex-tension this fall. |
