Show KICK OF HORSE LEADS TO RECOVERY Of STOLEN SILVER The Wilson Brothers delivery horse went on a kicking rampage Sunday afternoon and knocked out the end of the barn. In so doing, the animal disclosed the silverware that was stolen sto-len from the home of Mrs. W. L. Ma gInDls last March The Wilson brothers are holding the ware for Mrs. Maglnuis It consists of a sugar bowl, a cream pitcher and S spoon holder, all valuable silver. It will bo recalled that last March the Wilson brothers ran across a stranger In the basement of their grocery on Twenty-eighth street, near Wall avenue, and when they under took to detain him he showed fight by drawing a pocket knife Ccorge Wilson, former city councilman, pick ed up a brick and when the thler approached hit him between the eyes, felling him The thug was then overpowered over-powered and the poilce patrol called On the man's person was found some of the silverware stolen from Mrs. Maginnls. but not all that had been taken from the house onlj a short time before was recovered at that time The fellow confessed the crime of burglary' and wa8 sentenced to the state penitentiary where he Is now serving an indeterminate term He gave his name as Thomas Butler Ho had cached the silverware at the side of the barn where It wan exposed to view of the kick of a horse |
