Show ' BAPTIST CHURCH OF OGDEN IN GOOD CONDITION The parlors of the Baptist church were filled last evening on the occa sion of the yearly annual meeting. An excellent spirit was shown, and the yearly reports were most satisfactory. The report of the treasurer was grati- y fying, showing a balance on the right side of the ledger. Missionary apportionments appor-tionments were all met. improvements on property paid for, and a bright prospect for 1914 is ahead of the church. The annual election of officers for the coming year resulted as follows: T. D. Johnson and N. T. Moore were re-elected deacons; Mrs. Anna Burt Enloe, trustee for three years; Mrs John Hobbs, church clerk; E. H. Duns more, treasurer general and benevol ent fund; R. W. Shields, treasurer of poor fund; Fred Preshaw, superintend ent of Bible school. Mrs. Wi E Moore, primary superintendent, Eugenia Dunemore, superintendent West Og-den Og-den mission, Nellie Dunsmore, prayer meeting organist, and Mrs Hastings Jay Smith and Carlisle Steven3, music mu-sic committee. During the social hour that followed the Ladies Kensington served refreshments refresh-ments to all present The 1014 annual an-nual meeting was voted a success by all present. |
