Show oo GAME BEING PLAYED AT GLEEUWODD PARK ' 1SAFTEH The first game of baseball in the schedule of the City High School league was to have been played yesterday yes-terday afternoon, but owing to weather weath-er conditions it was called off and is now set for next Tuesday afternoon. ! The players of the four schools, the Ogden high school, Weber academy, State School for the Deaf and Blind and State Industrial school, have been practicing steadily for several weeks and are now in excellent form. The uniforms have been received and the coaches expect to decide on the regular lineups at an early date. A practice game will be played at the fair grounds tomorrow at 3:30 p. m between the Oregon Short Line and the Atlas Sure Shot teams of the City league with lineup as follows: fol-lows: A. S. S. O. Johnson cf r Richards This afternoon at Glenwood, "Dad" GImlin of the Ogden club is playing his regular team, with Galgano in the box, against the Denver &. Rio Grande team of Salt Lake City. Yesterday this game was abandoned by the local lo-cal management owing to the heavy rainfall, but the bright sunshine of the morning put the field in condition condi-tion for today. |
