Show TRAIN HITS AUT0;2 DEAD S. Osgood Pell and Chauffeur Meet Death Near Long- Beach on a Grade Crossing Engineer Fails to Sound Whistle New York, Aug 3. S Ospoort Pell, clulmian, broker and society leader, kas killed outright tonight, as was a chauffeur, whose name has not been learnerl. and .Mr and Mra William 1 aimbeer were mortally injured when the limousine ear in whicb they were riding was hit by a Long Beach express The accident occurred at the first crossing west of Long Beach between be-tween that resort and Lynbrook Ths train loft Long Beach at 10 30 o'cloi I and was crowded with persons who had been spending the day at the resort Mr. and Mrs Lalnibeer and i Mr fell and. it is said, another man. were in the limousine bound, it is I belleed, for Hempstead, where the i Laimbeers have a country home.
