The Scots were defeated to the tune of 4 to 1. The Callies won the toss and Bing-ham kicked off uphill, facing the sun. The opening exchanges were excit-ing, the ball being centered in front of the Bingham goal. J. Graham was unable quite to reach the ball with his head and fisted the ball through. The ball was quickly at the other end, where Mannion placed nicely to Bryan, who dribbled to the left of the goal and shot through beautifully. Bingham Scores After thirty minutes of play Ew-ban-scored the second goal for Bingham, and just before half time Shutt of the Callies was penalized for handling. This was converted bv Brv- - an, making the score at half 3-- The second half commenced with the Callies kicking uphill, and five minutes after the resumption Young and Beggs rushed the ball through the goal, the latter adding the finishing touch. After fifteen minutes of play Carr met a center with his head and deftly placed in out of the reach of Dixon. The game continued to be interest-ing, much more so than is indicated by the score, although the Bingham players were showing splendid com-bination and were much more dan-ero-in front of goal than their opponents. Callies Off Form The Callies combination was not up to standard and their forwards did not show the usual zip in front of goal Just before the finish, Carr, the Bingham inside left, hit the angle of COMMUNITY CHURCH Russel R.
