Show I WON IN THE NINTH , INNING Ogden won a spectacular 5 to 4 H game from Helena Tuesday afternoon, H passing Butte and going to fourth place in the Union association per- H ' centage column. The game was won B in the last half of the ninth inning. H Erlckson went to bat for Van. Ho H fanned. Murray was up next and ho H -walked. Mears had been pitching H great ball for Helena. Wood went lo H bat and was given two balls, Mcars H apparently losing control. Manager H ' Irby yanked Mears and put in Kllll- 1 lay. At that McCloskey took Wood H away from home plate and substituted H Jensen. Jensen walked and Murrav 1 went to second Perkins hit, but fall- H od to get to first on a close decision. H Knight then walked to the plate and H rapped out a single, scoring Murray H i It was then up to George Wessler 1 I "Wess" grabbed the bat and hit tho H second ball so fast to MengCR that It H confused the Helena men and Jensen H hurried home with the winning score H The game was one of the best play- B ed at Glenwood park thla year. Tho l Helena men are nothing like the un- 1 fortunate Great Falls players who put H up such good efforts last week. The H present visitors are ball shimmers for H fair. They hammer the horsehide all H over the lot if they are given a ghost H a show. H At the present time in fact, ever H since they returned to this oitv the H locals have been playing big league f ,)a11 They are fielding fine, running H good and batting hard. Tuesday's H game was as good as any fair fan m could wish to see, and the remaining M games of the series should be Just is m closely contested. The Tuesday score: B AT ABRBH.PO.A.E.
