Show WILL REPAY WICANS Believed That Colonists in Mexico Will Be Reimbursed. Washington, July 17. Extreme agitation agi-tation exists among the American and other foreign citizens alozg the line of the Mexican Norths eBtern railroad, as a result of the retreat of the insurgent in-surgent army In that direction. No serious trouble Is expeoted, howevor, as long as the United States adheres to Its present policy of strict neutrality neutral-ity and tho Mexican armies confine themselves to commandeering necessary neces-sary suppllos and transportation. It is pointed out here that the people peo-ple In that section of Mexico aro now undergoing tho same annoyance and distress that was sufferod for many weoks by the foreign element In the state of Chihuahua along the line of he Mexican Central railroad. It is part of ihc fortunes of war and so long as American citizens do not suffer actual ac-tual violence 'they muBt rest content with a knowledge that they will be amply repaid for any pecuniary loss inflicted on them as a result of tho rebolllon. |
