A State Democratic Convention will be held at Salt Lake theater, Salt Lake City, Utah, commencing at elev-len elev-len o'clock a. m., on the 29th day of I August, 1912, for the nomination of candidates for tho following state offices, of-fices, to -wit Governor, Secretary of State, State Auditor. State Treasuror. Attorney General, Superintendent of Public Instruction and two Congressmen Congress-men at large and three presidential electors A State Democratic Committee Com-mittee will also be elected and such other business transacted as may properly prop-erly como before the convention. The convention, for which notice Is hereby given, will consist of 652 delegates dele-gates at the ratio of one delegate for every sixty -five votes, or major portion por-tion therof, cast for Hon Frank B Stephens, Democratic candidate for presidential elector in 190S. The apportionment ap-portionment of delegates among the several counties of the state, on said basis. Is as follows, to wit: Beaver. 11, Box Elder, 27; Cache, 51; Carbon, 9; Emery, 12, Garfield. 5; .Grand, 3; Iron. 8; Juab 22; Kane, 2; Millard, 12; Morgan, 5. Piute. 3; Rich, 4; Salt Lake, 199;" San Juan, 2; Sanpete, 35; Sevier, 19; Summit 22, Tooele, 12; Uintah, 11; Utah. 77; Wasatch. Wa-satch. 15; Washington, 13; Wayne 3; Weber, 61; Da Is, 20. County Democratic Chairmen of the various counties will tako notice of this call and provide for the election of said delegates In their respective counties by primaries or conventions, hold therein, on or before August 26, 1912.
