Although her brother, Thomas Searles, barod his arm and for thirty minutes endured en-dured the transfusion of his blood to his dying sister, Miss Jean Searles, secretary Jo Congressman Gordon Lee of Georgia, tho sacrifice was unavailing un-availing and Miss Searles died last night at Providence hospital. The ense Is ono of unusual Interest among the profession because of tho long period of the transfusion. Tho heroic brother grew pnler and paler with tho ebb of his blood. Although she temporarily rallied, yot her weakened weak-ened condition could not withstand the shock.
