Show DIDN'T PROMISE TO REMAIN SOBER T. H. Miller, a bewhiskcred, respectable re-spectable appearing Individual who did 5 days on the rock pile lecontly for having been drunk on the city streets, was arraigned again today on a similar charge. Miller pleaded guilty and the judge Inquired why he had como back so soon. He replied that he had made no specific promises that ho would not be back; in fact, he was not certain, cer-tain, at tho time, but that ho would bo back. The court gave him seven days on securing a promise that this would be his laat appearance In a local court for drunkenness. Miller is a collector for an eastern breakfast food company and Is about 50 years of age. oo |
