Show PRIMARY BILL IS IN DANGER Boston, March 9 The lowor branch of tho legislature split with the senate on tho presidential preference prefer-ence primary bill and, unless ono branch recedes soon Massachusetts will select its delegates to the Chicago and Baltimore conventions under tho old system Tho houso amended tho bill passed bj the senate to include the selection of delcgatcs-nt-large aa well as district delegates by primaries, but later killed an amondment that would havo altered the bill in conformity con-formity with tho senate provisions. The enlarged bill 410W goes back to the senate, which rocently defeated a proposition to include delegates at large. Friends of the presidential primary fear the measure will fail. nn . |
