Show "LIBEL CASE IS' In tho district court this morning Judge Hnrrls dismissed tho caso of tho States against George Wilson, charged with criminal libel, on tho grounds that the Information did not state facts sufficient to constitute a crime. In passing on tho question of the sufficiency of the allegations of tho information, tho court stated that tho libelous article complained ot did not sufficiently express or Imply that tho parties Interested In the Four-State Fair association had wrongfully appropriated ap-propriated funds and lhat tho Innuendo In-nuendo was not Btrong onpugh to warrant a trial on tho charge. The court stated, however, that ho would ontertaiq another information on tho part of tho stato and would hold tho defendant .under bond until such timo as the matter could ho brought to Issuo , The district attorney 9tatod that he would not file anpthcr Information but would take exceptions to the ruling rul-ing of tho court. Thereupon the case was dismissed and the Jury discharged. |
