That tho fourth convention of the Intermoun-tain Intermoun-tain Good Roads association will be the most successful one yet hold in the history of that organization, Is thn belief of T. H. Burton, of Nephl. Utah. Mr Burton stopped here yesterday on his return from Logan whoro he has been with the executive committee to make preparations for tho convention. At Logan oxccutlve committees for five states wore appointed as follows fol-lows Utah T. H. Burton, Nephl; J. A. j HendrIck3on, Logan; and P. M. Pierce, Brigham. Montana J. D. Caldwell, Eugene Carroll and Fred Sterling. Wyoming Byron Sessions and H. L. Kuykcndall. Idaho D. A. Utter, Henry II. Huff and M. i. Kerr. Nevada C E. Haviland. Big Delegation. Mr. Burton says that Montana has notified tho oxecutlv, commltteo of the association that this state will send 200 delegates to tho convention, and I that other statos are expected to bo i similarly represented. It Is the Intention of the convention to ask the states to make land appro- IrIatlons to bc-sold undor proper stlpu-latlona. stlpu-latlona. and the returns from the sales to bo devoted to tho Improvement of the roads of tbo states. At the coming convention such topics an convict labor, good roads legislation and state road bulldlnp activities will be discussed |
