Show BIRTHDAY PARTY. A pleasant occasion of Saturday, week, was the party given by the Harry A. Young 'auxiliary at tho homo of Mr. and Mrs". E. J. Hansen In honor of Mrs. Hansen's birthday anniversary. Card games and various social diversions were enjoyed Mrs. Matilda Lyman received first ladles' prize and W. D. Batch'elor first gentlemen's gentle-men's prize. Mrs. Jane Walters and W. D. Hampton were ' the Jolly recipients re-cipients of the bcobyprizes The rooms were 'beautifully decorated deco-rated and with tho offectlvo lighting presented a charming-scene The national na-tional colors and autumnal foliage In the parlor and cut flowers, autumn shSdes and the national colors In the dining room made a pretty setting for the merry participants in tho natal celebration. At 10 30 o'clock an elaborate supper sup-per was served, at which covers were lal 1 for thirty-five guests The table was beautifully decorated and the menu wns as charming to tho eye as It was tempting to the palate. Nothing Noth-ing was omitted in making Mrs Hanson's Han-son's birthday the happiest and most memorable one ,pf Hortlife. A large number of gifts wore received re-ceived and congratulations and pleasant pleas-ant forecasts of tho future were among tho enjoyable features of the evening |
