Show CjOCIEXT LADIES' LITERARY CLUB The St. Valentine day meeting of the Ladies' Literary club which was held Wednesday at the home of Mrs Leroy Eccles, was one of the most , entertaining of the manj meritorious ones given by this organization of clover entertainers. A nearly full I membership wns present and the program, pro-gram, musical, legendary and historical, histori-cal, was nicely enrried out. The decorations were in heeplng with the St. Valentine festival and the luncheon which followed the program was a delightful and beautifully appointed ap-pointed feature. Mrs Emily Hordti as program lead, or omitted nothing that would add to , the' Interest or vivacity of tho occasion occa-sion After the reading of the minutes min-utes and transaction of club business busi-ness Mis. It. B. Porter sang two beautiful selections and with Mrs. Herdti as leader the members gavo a varled and interesting presentation of tho SL Valentine festival. A piano solo by Mrs. Althea Zinn and two vocal solos by Mrs. Abco Clark wore also much appreciated program numbers. num-bers. A valentine box proved a diverting and surprising portion of the social hour. A lovely bunch of violets for each lady, together with valentines, comic, apropos and dainty, were drawn from its depths. Mrs Eccles was assisted in entertaining enter-taining b her daughter, Miss Marian Eccles Mrs. R E Bristol was the i guest of 'the club.
