Eldredgo, aged 38 years, pco-,prletor pco-,prletor of a seoond-hand store at 1G8 West Second South street, and his father, Thomas Bldredget aged CO year3, wero placed under arrosi on the charge of receivinc stolen goods. "That this 'fence has been discovered discov-ered is largely duo to the work of Sheriff Harris. He located a man in davis county yesterday who confessed con-fessed to having disposed of stolen goods at the Eldredgo establ.shment This man was brought hero and ho pointed out the second-hand store, where he said ho had sold certain stolen articles. This resulted In tho search and arrest of tho Eldredges. "Eldredgo is specifically charged with receiving stolen property which was taken from the store of Baron & Co. at Garfield, which wbb robbed on October 23. It Is alleged tho ptolon goods wero sold to Eldrodge the following day There is no doubt that many other charges of a similar nature will bo brought against tho younger Eldredgo." Stolon Property Identified Among tho articles which were taken tak-en to tho sher'if's office last night from the second-hand storo aro thoso which have been Identified as having hav-ing been stolen from the following stores: Rnmpton General Merchandise store at Bountiful, which was robbed on October 29, Tho .Merrill Lumber & Hardware company's store at Dr.'gham City. Baron & Co.'s stoio at Garfield. The Stowart & Burton storo at KayBvlllc, which was robbed last June. It Is bellood that a nuautlt of tho stolon property was taken from Den-vor Den-vor &.RIo Grande freight cars. No fur robbery has takon place recently in Salt Lako and It Is believed by Sheriff Sharp that the costly furs havo been shipped Into Salt Lako probably from Snn Francisco or Los Angeles', where a number of fur rob-berlos rob-berlos lfavc occurred within the last six months.
