Show SIX PRISONERS ASK BOARD FOR MERCY. Six prisoners In the state prison have sent In requests to the state board of pardons for liberty. The cases will be heard at the next meeting meet-ing of the pardon board, March IS, at the state prison. Iu addition to the regular list of cases, the hoard will consider the request of James Lvnch for the commutation of his life sontencc in the prison on a chargo of first degree murder. His case was heard at the last session of the board and postponed a month. The other petitionors are as follows: For pardon, par-don, Jhon Rlhtar. lloscoc Morley, Edgar Ed-gar Frandson, all serving tlmo on statutory charges; for commutation, Joseph Fuller, grand larceny; for parole, pa-role, S E Doman, statutory crime; George F. Stevens, bigamy. Stocns was sent to the prison November 29. 1900, for marrying a woman in Davis county while he had a wife and family in Park City. oo |
