Show STOCKS DROP ON EXTRA SESSION NEWS New York. March. 4. Opening trading trad-ing on the stock exchange showed fairly good advnnces over last night's closing. Atchison and Canadian Pacific Pa-cific were the strongest with gains of a point each. Union Pacific and New York Central were up 5-8 and United States Steel and Reading 3.S. Denver & Rio Grande, pfd., lost 1-2. The market maintained its strength during the first hour and Increased the opening gains slightly. Atchison was in brisk demand. Soo Line was up 3 points. Tho market mar-ket was steady with a mo-derate rally In progress. Most of the early gains were lost in the last hour concurrent with the news that an extra session of congress wns about to be called. The result was extreme weakness in New York Central which touched 105 1-8, its low price of last year. Central Railroad of New Jersey 10 points, and Federal Mining 7 1-4. New York Money.
