Show Camp Hunt to Open July 3 Dates were set for annual camps, Teports were heard on membership, finance, advancement advance-ment and service activities of the Cache Valley Boy Scout council at their quarterly meeting Sunday in Logan, Executive Preston W. Pond reported. J. R. Johnson, Richmond, chairman chair-man of the camping and activities committee, announced that Camp Hunt on Bear Lake would open for one month on July 3. Scouts were urged to attend on a district basis to facilitate both transportation transpor-tation and leadership, Mr. Johnson John-son said. He reported that several scout-ers scout-ers and senior scouts completed numerous projects at a Camp Hunt work day Saturday. The most important was to set up a water heating and dishwashing unit and construction of a fence along the south boundary of the camp grounds. A general cleanup will be conducted at another work day later this month. The New Fork Lake camp in the Windriver Mountains of Wyoming, Wyo-ming, will be opened August 7 and continue until the 19 th while the annual Bridger Hike into the inaccessable parts of the mountains, moun-tains, will be staged the week of July 12-19. All registered scouts are eligible to attend both Camp Hunt and New Fork, but only senior sen-ior scouts who qualify will be eligible eli-gible for the Bridger Hike. " |
