Show Starts Sunday At The Capitol Heralded as Deanna Durbin's most colorful motion picture, "It's A Date", which has its background in Hawaii, will open Sunday at the Capitol Theater. Marking another important forward step in the development of the Universal star into more mature roles, Deanna's seventh film finds her surrounded by a stellar cast. Newcomer Featured Deanna's boy-friend, played by howara, aiso iiguies yiuiumwinw in the complicated but ingratiating ingratiat-ing proceedings. The singing star has four numbers, including a popular tune, "Love Is All", by Pinky Tomlin and Harry Tobias. Others are Schubert's "Ave Maria", "Mu. setta's Street Song," from Poc-cini's Poc-cini's "La Boheme", and "Loch Lomond". Harry Owens and his Royal Hawaiians are also in the cast' to carry on the Hawaiian atmosphere atmos-phere for the colorful production. Owens and his internationally-famous internationally-famous orchestra, with hula dancers and the soloist, Kenny Allen, introduce two new numbers,1 num-bers,1 "It Happened in Kaloha" by Ralph Freed and Frank Skinner, and "Rhythm of the Islands", Is-lands", by Eddie Cherkose, Jacques Jac-ques Press and Leon Belasco.
