Ray Robinson, 125 East Fifth South street, has filed his candidacy petition with the county coun-ty clerk, seeking the nomination on the Democratic ticket for four-year county commissioner from the Central district. Mr. Robinson is a well known fur and dairy farmer, owning and operating the Rayalta fur and dairy farms of Logan. He is a fcrrjsr instru,Jor in the Logan cemetery, a post he held for nine years before going into the agricultural industry. Active throughout his life m church work, he is a member of the Logan stake high council and in ward affair's. Mr. Robinson was a candidate for office two years ago and an- ' nounced his platform as advocating advocat-ing "an economic, efficient and honest administration of county , government. "We have social and moral obligation ob-ligation to all groups. County government leaders must recognize recog-nize this fact and all people are entitled to fair and impartial hearings of all problems," he continued. "And in addition there must be economic administration of government funds. Some people feel that in Cache county this principle has been lacking. "I seek to represent all the j people no organized group nor any individuals," he concluded. Mr. Robinson is a graduate of Utah State Agricultural college, where he received his masteJ s degree in agriculture. He senses the need for continued and intensified inten-sified promotion of agricultural welfare in the county. Mr. Robinson also 'is a member mem-ber of the county welfare board and said he will give fair and impartial consideration to all worthy people who are entitled to relief. |
