Show Big Seven Basketball Schedule Announced Iiy Conference Heads Basketball will go back on the Big Seven conference athletic program pro-gram this winter, it was announced announc-ed by Coach E. L. (Dick) Romney today, after plans 'for the 1945 campaign were outlined Monday at a sDecial meeting in Salt Lake City. Six of the seven schools gave definite assurance that they would participate and one, BYTJ, voted "probable." Utah State will open the season January 13 playing Utah, at Logan. It is expected that the Farmers will begin basketball drills soon and prospects look good for the season. Returning players include Bail (Hap) Holmstead, Clinton Nelson, Grant Mortensen and Lyle Hale, all of whom played as regulars regu-lars on the Collegians, last year's orphaned Aggie team. Dale Lewis, another mainstay also may be back and several promising freshmen fresh-men will bolster the squad.
